About Our Towne Guilderland

Thank you for your interest in Our Towne- Guilderland’s Hometown Community Resource. Our Towne is mailed, by itself, monthly to over 15,000 households and businesses in Guilderland with additional copies distributed at area businesses.

Each edition features two locally owned businesses, a message from the Chamber of Commerce, Important Numbers, Community Information, Community Calendar, Coloring Contest, History Quiz, Kids Page and Specials from area businesses.

Similar to our featured local businesses, Our Towne is locally owned and operated.  I live in Guilderland with my wife, Kristen and our son, Ryan. Kristen is a teacher at Guilderland High School. She has taught social studies there for over 12 years. We are active in the community. I belong to the Colonie-Guilderland Rotary Club and I am also a board member of the Guilderland Chamber of Commerce.

Our Towne differentiates itself from other types of print media by providing information and features unique to its area. A recent reader’s survey indicated that Our Towne stays in their home an average of 20 days per month. They also referred back to us 7-10 times during that time frame.
