Business cards not only make the first impression for you and your business, but they are also an inexpensive and useful marketing tool. Our Towne is available online which connects your information to the digital world making the information, searchable, discoverable and linkable. Myth: I don't need to advertise.I cringe when I hear this statement! I understand that most people mean “I don’t need to advertise with you.” This, of course, is a valid statement. However, we all need to advertise. I quote Confucius, “Dig the well before you thirst.” Advertising will keep a stream of business coming in during the slow times, especially if done in conjunction with networking and other forms of marketing. We need to keep our goods and services “TOP OF MIND” with our customers and prospects. Myth: Everybody knows us!A blessing and a curse. Drive down Western Ave and note how many businesses have opened and closed over the last five years. Almost 50,000 (NYS DOT figures) cars drive by the 20 Mall every day. These were all businesses that said “Why do we need to advertise? Everybody knows us!” Advertising is not just about letting people know you are here. It is about being RELEVANT! We advertise to stay connected with our customers and prospects. We often get complacent and our customers can become ambivalent towards us. We need to keep selling/promoting our businesses every day. |
